Although we try our best to
ensure we keep our stock as up-to-date as possible, manufacturers
regularly change their ranges, adding new products and often deleting
others. Once a puzzle becomes discontinued it is very difficult to
obtain.
At Jigsaw Gallery we do our best to help you identify discontinued products
by clearly marking these items in our database, although you will be
unable to purchase them.
Why show them on site?
We are often asked why we show
the discontinued puzzles on site when you can't buy them. Here at
Jigsaw Gallery we are not just a shop, we are providing a service
for you, and many people have written in to say they had been searching
everywhere for a particular puzzle, and it was only when they came
to Jigsaw Gallery that they realised it was no longer being made.
Seeing that a puzzle has been discontinued means you can stop wasting
time looking to buy it new and instead place an advert on the swap
shop for someone who might have one to swap or sell to you.
We also run a website for people
who want to try and purchase old or discontinued puzzles. The website
address is www.jigsawpuzzles4sale.com
and on here you can list any puzzles you want to sell or swap and
also search for puzzles to buy.
The site was launched in March 2004
and has become a popular place to post puzzles, which we hope will
help you to locate that elusive jigsaw you are after.
