Description and Additional Information: This astonishing fortress city of the ancient Incas is situated between two peaks some 50 miles (80 km) North West of Cuzco, Peru. The extraordinary pre-Columbian ruin covers 5 square Miles of terraced stonework linked by 3,000 steps, and was discovered virtually intact in 1911 by Hiram Bingham.
