The original idea was for the puzzle to consist of not one, but two images, designed by artist Graham Thompson. The box image was always the 'reaction' of the onlookers to the main event in the actual puzzle image, with other people and objects providing vital clues as to what is going on in the puzzle. The range has since expanded on this simple idea, to include 'Destiny' Wasgij - where the box image is a comedy scene set in the past, and the puzzle is the same scene but in the present day, with some startling similarities! 'Mystery' Wasgij has also followed: the box picture depicts a snapshot of an event, and the puzzle image shows the chaos that unfolds as a result. You can also try out a smaller Mini Wasgij of 54 pieces, if you're not up for getting straight on with the large ones!
